Stories

Hello Everyone!
I have the new list of our seasons charity dinners for 2017.
Our dinners donate 100% of proceeds to support our projects.  Staff and bands donate their time!   A huge thank you to all of them!
This year we have so many wonderful projects..some new and some to support our long time friends struggling to make ends meet.
My daughter Madeline, Jordan and I just returned from our vacation and the restaurant is open again in full swing. It is great to be home! We visited the NEW school in Thailand that is close to completion and our $$$ went a long way.  They were able to install a reverse osmosis water purification system (made in America btw), build an 8 bathroom block and purchase a refrigerator with your funds.  They send you a huge thank you for this!!  I also worked a few days with Rotary Clubs from Cambodia, Nepal, Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany to do a food, blanket, clothes distribution. We visited a small school (700 children) newly constructed and cut the childrens hair, did balloon animals, painted the walls, played the recorder, and gave each student new uniforms and school supplies.   All donated by the Taiwan Interact club (teenagers raised this money) and the Siem Reap Rotary. It was an amazing day filled with laughter, hard work and incredible gratitude!

We regret that we postponed our October 9, 2016 event, but excited that Ms Anindita Nanda will perform Indian classical dance for our event.  We are anticipating a new date of later spring, 2017 and will publish accordingly.

Rotary Serving Humanity is always a rewarding experience.  Service minded youths and adults make a huge difference in society.  Rotarians cherish the Service Above Self philosophy and always want to give more to the community than take.  Consider this route to make a difference and meet like minded people from our community as well as other Rotarians from all over the world.  The personal and profession benefits are considerable.
